After having completed the realisation of five technology publications in 2004 dealing with spinning (wool and cotton), weaving, knitting, and the ennobling of chemical fibres, the ACIMIT Foundation has undertaken to provide continuous updates for these milestone publications. Currently, a sixth manual is under way, dedicated to the non-woven fabrics sector.
The success of this initiative (over 18,000 copies have been printed to date) has convinced the Foundation to seriously consider the translation of these technology manuals in English, Chinese and Arabic onto CD-ROMs, so as to distribute their contents to major foreign textile technology schools and universities worldwide.
