The inflation rate increased to 1.9% in June (1.5% in June 2006). Swedish consumer prices increased on average with 0.2 % from May to June. The CPI for June 2007 is 289.95 (1980=100).
Lower prices for clothing and footwear (-2.5%) counteracted the increase by 0.1 percentage points downwards.
In June, the underlying inflation rate according to UND1X increased to 1.0% (0.9% in May). The inflation rate according to UNDINHX was 1.6% (1.6% in May).
The monthly changes were 0.1% according to UND1X and 0.0% according to UNDINHX. The Harmonised Index (HICP) increased by 0.1% since May. The inflation rate according to HICP was 1.3% in June 2007.
The Net Price Index increased by 0.2% since May and has increased by 2.5% compared to June 2006.
