FPCCI will organize Pakistan's participation in the South African International Trade Exhibition SAITEX – 2007 to be held on 16 – 19 October, 2007 at Johannesburg, South Africa, which has been allocated to FPCCI by TDAP, Government of Pakistan.
This was stated by Mr. Farooq Ahmed Sheikh, Chairman Fairs & Exhibition Committee of FPCCI. He said that SAITEX is the most popular annual trade event of South Africa which is participated by a large number of foreign countries.
FPCCI has invited applications from the interested companies through its Member Bodies all over Pakistan by 10-08-2007. Mr. Farooq Ahmed Sheikh has expressed his determination that FPCCI will organize Pakistan's participation on a very large scale with a variety of various products. He said that the main objective of our participation in SAITEX is to promote bilateral trade with South African market.
The Exhibit profile for SAITEX include Local and International merchandise traders, furniture designers & manufacturers, Importers and trade management service providers. PRIMARY INDUSTRY SECTORS: - Furniture, hard & Soft furnishings, including: Homeware & Related Fittings, Fabric & Decorative Accessories, Outdoor Furniture, Flooring, Carpeting & Paving, Lightening, Logistics & Distribution service providers, transport and shipping services, Development & Government agencies/services, Financial, Investment & business services, Import / Export agents, Professional & Trade services, Food& Beverage, Textile, and Textile madeups, Clothing, Leather & Footwear, Tourism, Healthcare. Handicrafts.
FPCCI has also issued circular inviting application for participation in the SAITEX 2007.
