The proceedings were divided into 3 lectures covering Coloration – by Mr. Roland Schamberger of DyStar, Germany, Innovations – by Shri. Ramachandran of Sri Laxmi Fibres and Regulations – by Shri. Rohit Shah, Control Union India.
In the lectures were ably summed up and translated into Tamil by Mr. A.C.Kalidas. Mr. Roland of DyStar presented the best available technology for Cotton Dyeing through research in design of Dyestuffs followed by the informative lecture on “Water Recycling Technology using Solar Energy” This lecture gave the complete design of the Water recycling technology using Solar dish.
The regulations lecture gave the complete information of GOTS and Cotton Exchange Certification and the regulations involved in getting the certifications for the entire supply chain of Textile Industry.
Mr. S.Periasamy, Hon. Secretary of SDC Tirupur Region and Dy. Director of Textiles Committee proposed the Vote of Thanks. Throughout the session, delegates were taken on a colourful journey – navigating colour space through all the technical lectures. It was a pleasure for the Organisers to see this Conference well attended through the Day!
