Rieter Spun Yarn Systems celebrated its 700th RSB drawframe delivered to Thailand. This event was held in the Hyatt Erawan hotel on July 10, 2007, in Bangkok.
The 700th RSB drawframe was delivered to Nanyang Textile Group, a leading spinning and knitting company in Thailand. The company is currently operating over 30 RSB drawframes and manufactures top quality products.
The celebration with high-ranking representatives from the Thai textile industry and in total around 100 guests was organized by Rieter´s local representative Avitex. The event was opened by Mr. Peter Illi (Head of Sales Far East) giving an overview of Rieter´s activities in the business groups Rieter Automotive and Rieter Textile Systems.
This was followed by a speech of Mr. Jürgen Müller (Head of Product Management Drawframe) covering the history of Rieter RSB autolevelling drawframe technology and the highlights of the latest model - the drawframe RSB-D 40.
It was announced that Rieter now offers the drawframe instruction manual and soon also the drawframe display text in Thai language, thereby supporting its Thai customers in the best possible way.
Rieter has now installed worldwide more than 24´000 RSB/SB drawframes in over 2,100 spinning mills in some 100 countries. Thanks to the company's ongoing search for innovation and improvement, the success story of the RSB is set to continue.
