“Confidence in textiles – worldwide“. Under this slogan, the International Oeko-Tex Association will be presenting a new information brochure at the ITMA exhibition in Munich. In 24 pages, the brochure gives a detailed overview of the concept, procedures and benefits of the Oeko-Tex Standard 100.
It is intended for textile and clothing manufacturers who would like to have their products certificated and so want to gain a first impression about the requirements and procedure for product certification.
At the same time, the brochure also provides useful arguments which certificate-holders can use in order to point out to their suppliers the additional benefits of textiles that have been optimised for harmful substances.
Manufacturers, retailers and mail order companies will also have the opportunity to use the brochure for staff training or for telling their customers about their Oeko-Tex certificated product range.
The brochure is currently available in German, English and Chinese and can also be ordered in larger quantities from the German Oeko-Tex Certification Centre for free.
Other language versions (e.g. French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese) are being prepared and will be published shortly. The available brochures can also be downloaded as PDF files on the Internet at any time, from Oeko-Tex website.
