Jan Pohlschmidt as new product manager for IMB & IMB Forum

Jan Pohlschmidt has been appointed the new product manager of two specialist trade fairs organized by Koelnmesse: IMB - World of Textile Processing and IMB-Forum - Information Technology for the Textile Processing and Apparel Industry.
Pohlschmidt will succeed Uwe Deitersen, who occupied this position for over seven years and took on a new position at Koelnmesse last March.
Jan Pohlschmidt has worked for Koelnmesse since 2003. His last position was that of Sales Manager of interzum, the leading global trade fair for suppliers of the furniture industry and the interior construction segment.
For Pohlschmidt, the new assignment is by no means unknown territory. In his capacity as Sales Manager of interzum, he has already worked with companies from the segments for CAD/CAM and upholstery production machinery.
Pohlschmidt, who was born in Bochum, studied business administration and worked abroad for an international company before coming to Koelnmesse. His international experience will now be put to good use in his work for the two Koelnmesse trade fairs.
