JTIA organizes larger delegation to TITAS

Organized by Taiwan Textile Federation and TAITRA (Taiwan External Trade Development Council), TITAS 2007 will be held on October 24-26 at Taipei World Trade Center Exhibition Hall.

It is estimated that there will be about 350 domestic and international vendors attending with approximately 650 booths for the show.

This year, organizer has successfully facilitated Japan Textile Importers Association (JTIA)to expand its delegation with more than 20 buyer teams.

The association has expressed high interest in functional and fashionable fabrics and technologies in the textile industry.

Japan Textile Importers Association is the most important and largest trade association in Japan, with the highest volume in procurement.

Formed by heavyweight members such as Itochu, Marubeni, Mitsui, Mitsubishi groups, and over one hundred other textile corporations, the association is very influential with annual purchase reaching tens of billion US dollars each year.

In addition to buyers from Japan, several important brands and distributors from Europe, America, China and other areas have also conveyed their interest in attending TITAS.

Since TITAS 2007 will be held concurrently with the annual meeting of IAF this year, it is estimated that over 300 representatives of buyers from prestigious international brands will be coming to the event, creating more business opportunities than before.
