“PROGRAMME FOR ELECTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE KARACHI COTTON ASSOCIATION FOR THE YEAR 2007-08 AND FOR HOLDING EXTRA ORDINARY GENERAL BODY MEETING.
1. SATURDAY, 1ST DECEMBER, 2007
Notice to be issued 21 days in advance for convening the Extra Ordinary General Body Meeting as per Article 37 and Section 158 of Companies Ordinance, 1984.
2. SATURDAY, 08TH DECEMBER, 2007
Circular notifying list of voters eligible to vote and to stand as candidates for election of Directors (Article 51-D), and issue of nomination form.
3. SATURDAY, 15TH DECEMBER, 2007
Final date for the receipt of nomination forms signed by the candidates duly proposed and seconded upto 2:00 p.m.
4. MONDAY, 17TH DECEMBER, 2007
Notice notifying the names of candidates for election to the Board of Directors and notifying that the ballot will be held on Thursday, 27th December, 2007.
5. MONDAY, 24TH DECEMBER, 2007
Final date for receipt of the withdrawals of nominations 02:00 p.m.
6. THURSDAY, 27TH DECEMBER, 2007
Ballot at the Office of the Association from 12.00 Noon to 04:00 p.m.
7. FRIDAY, 28TH DECEMBER, 2007
