According to Karachi Cotton Association (KCA) cotton prices are persistently recording heavy fluctuations and downstream manufacturers are hoping that expected large world crop will cool down the rates.
Cotton prices stood at around Rs2875 per maund on September 26 and dropped to Rs2825 on September 29.
On October 5, the quoted rates again climbed to Rs2850 per maund. A-Index stood at 70.20 and B-Index was at 67.85.
