The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is organising Seminar on "The Aim Market : Opportunities for the Indian Companies", on Tuesday, 9th October 2007, at 0900 hrs Raisina Hall, Hotel Le Meridien, Windsor Place, New Delhi.
Indian companies are making a concerted effort to become global players and are bringing to the table compelling business models and potential synergies, which together with healthy performance at home and access to competitive financing avenues, make them serious buyers for acquiring targets overseas.
Listing on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) is one such avenue for raising funds, from the overseas markets. The Alternative Investment Market (AIM) is a sub-market of the London Stock Exchange, allowing smaller companies to float shares with a more flexible regulatory system than is applicable to the Main Market.
