A promotion prize endowed with 3.000 Euro was awarded to Mr Roland Kleicke, also of ITB Dresden who researched technological and constructive development at an Easy leno weaving machine for further lenowoven structures. Mr Konstantin Bertet of ITV Denkendorf received a promotion prize endowed with 3.000 Euro for his work “Researches into the use of high-performance-fibres in large-scale inflated lightweight-tent structures“.

The Walter Reiners Foundation once a year honours students of engineering and graduates who have developed especially innovative solutions for textile machinery engineering.
