From 2nd to 5th April 2008 the 29th International Cotton Conference will take place at the town hall of the Free Hanseatic city of Bremen, Germany.

The Bremen Cotton Exchange and the Fibre Institute Bremen jointly organize this bi-annual event. Every second year about 700 participants from almost 40 countries travel to Bremen.

The Bremen conference is one of the major cotton conferences and the leading conference on cotton testing methods. The technical analysis of cotton as well as the of determination fibre properties are traditionally focussed at the conference.

Further current topics like sustainable cotton production, international harmonization of cotton testing facilities and picking methods are discussed. 7 Sessions in 2 days cover the most important raw textile fibre from the crop to trade and processing.
