Mr Amar Singh Sisodia, Assistant Vice President (Technical), INDOWORTH INDIA LIMITED, Nagpur, happened to visit “ITMA 2007-The Place for Innovation, Munich, Germany.” This exhibition was held during September 13-20, 2007 in Munich.
Indoworth India Ltd is the Indian wing of multinational Lohia Group. This is first venture of the group in India in natural fibre and is the second largest spinner of worsted yarn in the world.
Company is mainly export oriented unit. The entire production is exported to the discerning market in Europe, Japan North America.
ITMA, which is an acronym for International Exhibition of Textile Machinery was staged for the first time in 1951.
Since then, it has become the undisputed leader in exhibition of World Textile Machinery Industry. ITMA has been held alternatively in Hanover, Paris and Milan and this year for the first time in its history, was staged in Munich, Germany.
