Mrs. Ulker Guzel, Deputy Undersecretary for Foreign Trade, Republic of Turkey will lead the Turkish delegation. The theme of the 66th Plenary Meeting is Strategies for National Competitiveness.
Fortyeight speakers from 15 countries and five International Organizations will make presentations on a range of topics, including Strategies for National Competitiveness in Textile and Garment Industries, Strategies for National Competitiveness in Cotton Production, Government Measures, Progress Toward Industry Standardization: Instrument Testing and Trade Rules, and The Effects of Global Warming on Cotton Production.
The meeting will be held during October 22-26, 2007 in Izmir, Turkey at the Hilton Hotel. The Government of Turkey will host the meeting.
The theme of the 66th Plenary Meeting is Strategies for National Competitiveness.
