As a leading player at a world level, RadiciGroup could not afford to pass up the opportunities and the challenges offered by India, one of the largest global emerging markets.
The rational behind RadiciGroup's expanding business activity in India is to support our customers' globalization strategies and, at the same time, to introduce the Group's products to new areas of the world that look very promising from the point of view of industrial growth. RadiciGroup is recognized worldwide as a very reliable partner, able to guarantee fast delivery, reliable customer service and effective pre- and post-sale technical support.
Banking mostly on the growth of the Indian auto industry, in February 2006, RadiciGroup and Modi Intercontinental initiated the joint venture Radici Plastics Modi P. Ltd. in New Delhi to develop the polyamide engineering plastics market in India and neighbouring countries.
However, RadiciGroup's presence in India goes well beyond engineering plastics. New business opportunities, created by the strong growth of the Asian markets, are also springing up in other markets where RadiciGroup operates, for example, synthetic fibres, which make up 50% of RadiciGroup's total sales.
Thus, a representative office was recently opened in Noida — a rapidly growing business centre in the eastern suburbs of New Delhi, India to represent and work for the entire Group. This initiative will strengthen RadiciGroup's presence on the Indian subcontinent, by implementing the same synergistic strategies already successfully applied in Europe, the USA and South America.
RadiciGroup's activities are organised on a global level; the Group is diversified in and focused on Chemicals, Plastics, Fibres, Textiles and Textile Machinery.
RadiciGroup's products are exported all over the world, and are the starting-point for developments in the clothing, sport, furnishings, automotive, electrical/electronic and appliances sectors.
