This year a new dimension of sectoral approach has been added to the display profile of the exhibition and emphasis is laid on sector specific products and technologies like low cost building material, auto components, information technology, light engineering and machines tools, textiles, coir etc.
A new initiative has been taken by NSIC by providing special enclosure of “Working Techmart” where stand-alone technologies for entrepreneurs will be on display besides live cluster demonstration of units from North Eastern States.
During Techmart India 2007, a seminar on NSIC support services for Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises will also be organised.
About 35 Foreign delegations from South Africa, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Mozambique etc. are expected to visit Techmart India, 2007. Shri Mahabir Prasad will also inaugurate KVIC & Coir Board pavilions tomorrow.
