Textile-leather consumption fall in Oct

In October 2007, households consumption expenditure on manufactured goods decreased by 1.1 % in previous year price chain-linked volumes, after -0.3% in September (trading days and seasonally adjusted figures).

After September's stability, consumption of textile-leather decreased in October (-2.0 %). Finally, households consumption of other manufactured goods recovered in October (+0.3% after -0.2 % in September).
