According to Karachi Cotton Association (KCA) cotton prices have started to slide with rates reaching Rs3,000 per maund on December 8 as compared to Rs3050 the previous day.
Today, the prices have slipped further to Rs2,950 per maund. The unstable trend in the international markets seems to be affecting the domestic scenario.
Fluctuation in the prices is taking its toll on the manufacturers, with organizations and companies aggressively seeking Government intervention.
