On an annual basis production for Manufacturing Industries for October 2007 was 10.8% higher than in October 2006.
The seasonally adjusted volume of industrial production for manufacturing industries for the three month period August to October 2007 was 0.1% lower than the preceding three month period.
The “Modern” Sector, comprising a number of high-technology and chemical sectors, showed an annual increase in production for October 2007 of 14.7%, while an increase of 0.2% was recorded in the “Traditional” Sector.
The seasonally adjusted industrial turnover index for manufacturing industries was 2.7% higher in the three month period August to October 2007 when compared with the preceding three month period.
On an annual basis turnover in October 2007 was 6.7% higher when compared with October 2006.
