Because of his global experience and expertise, he has been asked to advise several environmental task forces created by leading U.S. retailers and industry groups.
He is a member of the American Apparel and Footwear Association (AAFA)'s Environmental Task Force that this year published their Restricted Substance List (RSL) for textiles and apparel.
Last week, Dr. Wentz addressed automotive experts in Detroit, MI on Oeko-Tex and the ecology and safety of car interior textiles.
