In October 2007, in comparison with October 2006 the value of imports of wood and articles of wood increased by 41.1%, of transport vehicles – by 39.1%, of plastics and articles thereof – by 23.7%, of agriculture and food products – by 18.4%, of base metals and articles of base metals –by 8.5%, of textiles and textile articles – by 5.9%. But the exports of optical instruments and apparatus (inc. medical); clocks and watches; musical instruments decreased by 18.9%. Imports of machinery and mechanical appliances; electrical equipment decreased by 0.9%.
In October 2007, in comparison with September 2007 the value of imports of miscellaneous manufactured articles; including furniture increased by 28.3%, of transport vehicles - by 26.9%, of agriculture and food products – by 21.1%, of plastics and articles thereof; rubber and articles thereof – by 21.0%, textiles and textile articles – by 12.7%, of base metals and articles of base metals – by 10.0%. Imports of mineral products decreased by 21.6%, of footwear, headgear, umbrellas and other articles – by 12.9%, of wood and articles of wood – by 2.4%.
