For Nylon 6, we expect energy savings of 70% and CO2 emission savings of 70% as compared to their virgin fiber counterparts. For polyester, fabrics, we have a 80% energy savings and 80% CO2 emission savings as also compared with virgin fibers.
This successful launch, and new partnership with industry leaders Toray and Teijin, is another significant step for Patagonia towards reaching its 2010 goal.
