Dr. Wolfgang Büchele (48), head of the Fine Chemicals division will leave BASF Aktiengesellschaft at his own request on December 31, 2007 and will not take up his position on the Board of Executive Directors on January 1, 2008.
Vice Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors, Eggert Voscherau (64), will initially retain his responsibility for Europe.
Dr. John Feldmann (58) will remain responsible for the oil and gas business for the time being, while responsibility for the Global Procurement & Logistics division will continue to lie with Dr. Kurt Bock (49).
