Steven Reiser as Global Strategic Procurement Officer at Ciba
Ciba has appointed Steven Reiser, currently Vice President Global Sourcing at H.B. Fuller, based in St. Paul, Minnesota (USA), to the newly created position of Global Strategic Procurement Officer.
He will be responsible for all direct and indirect purchasing activities within Ciba globally across all businesses, reporting to Franz Killer, Global Head Technical Operations and Procurement.
“This newly created role and the appointment of Steven Reiser will allow us to further strengthen our sourcing capabilities, a key success factor for Ciba moving forward,” said Brendan Cummins, CEO of Ciba.
Steven Reiser (45), a US citizen, holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Würzburg in Germany and has broad experience in the fields of both purchasing and sales and marketing.
