Vietnam National Textile and Apparel group (VINATEX), on 19 January, launched its second supermarket in Kon Tum Province, which lies in the Central Highland region of Vietnam. This was done in a bid to meet increasing demand of highland people.
This is the second Vinatex-mart in the highland and the 49th in the country.
The new Vinatex-mart sells more than 35,000 products of five key categories including textile and apparel, food, costumes, household tool and sourvernir.
In 2007, the Vinatex-mart stood at Top ten supermarkets in Vietnam and top 500 retailers of Asia – Pacific region.
