PTT Chemical Public Company Limited (PTTCH) notified the temporary plant shutdown of Olefins plant I4-1 to repair machines for the period of 13 days, commencing from 31 January 2008 to 12 February 2008.
Hence, the Company's Olefins production would decrease by 29,000 tons from the current total production capacity of 1,713,000 tons per annum, or decreasing by 1.7 percent.
This shutdown is an additional shutdown for fixing machines, and preparing all related equipments to be ready for the full production and to be corresponding to the future feedstock usage.
