Performance Fibers appoints new COO

Carnevale previously led the European business for Performance Fibers and its predecessor company, Honeywell Performance Fibers. He held several leadership positions during his 17 years with Honeywell/AlliedSignal, including working for more than a decade outside the U.S. Carnevale has been plant manager at the Moncure, N.C. facility and production manager at the Longlaville, France facility.

A resident of Luxembourg, he holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Richmond in Virginia and graduated with honors with a Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Virginia.

Sicre, a European native, joined predecessor company AlliedSignal in 1991 as an engineer and held a variety of positions including supply chain manager, plant manager for the Longlaville, France facility and most recently, technical operations director for Europe.

Sicre earned a degree in engineering from L'École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers (ENSAM) in Paris. He holds a Six Sigma Black Belt.

Both Carnevale and Sicre are based at the company's European headquarters in Bascharage, Luxembourg. Performance Fibers is a leading global supplier of high-tenacity polyester fibers, engineered fabrics, sewing thread fibers and advanced materials. With manufacturing facili¬ties in North America, Asia and Europe, its products are used in a wide range of consumer and industrial applications.
