FIBERRIK is a new national textilebranch award. The winner will be announced at the Ambience08 Conference dinner. The price for the winnig project is SEK 200.000.
Smart Textiles is a generic term for the next generation of textile products. Simply known as fibres or textiles which react or receives a signal that, in turn, creates a change of character of the fibre or textile.
Through FIBERRIK, the founders of ESPIRA Tillväxtcenter in Sjuhärad and Smart Textiles together with The Swedish School of Textiles raise Swedish innovations leading to a future development of products and textile components. Föreningsparbanksstiftelsen Sjuhärad is sponsoring the price of SEK 200.000.
The price award ceremoni will take place during the international scientific conference within the smart textile area, Ambience 08, held in Borås in June, 2008.
You are welcome to nominate a company, researcher, institution or a person whom you consider worthy the chance of winning the price.
You can even nominate yourself. March 15, 2008 is the latest day for applying or nominate your contribution to FIBERRIK.
