Compared to March 2008, the average consumer price level in April 2008 rose by 1.5%. Prices of goods increased by 1.9%, but prices of services – by 0.7%.
Prices continued to rise for footwear and wearing apparel.
Compared to April of previous year, the consumer prices have increased by 17.5%, of which prices for goods increased by 17.6%, but for services – by 17.3%.
Compared to previous 12 months, the average consumer price level has increased by 13.0%.
