Tashkent to host First International Uzbek Cotton Fair

First international Uzbek cotton fair will be held during Octoer 10-11, 2005, at Tashkent, the capital.

Being the sixth largest producer and second ranked exporter, Uzbekistan holds a special place in the cotton map of the world.

First International Cotton Fair will provide a platform to develop long-term trade relationships and facilitate contracts for cotton fibre delivery.

Participating companies represent a wide geographical representation from SouthEast Asia, CIS and Europe regions.

The event jointly organized by the Government of Uzbekistan and the Cotton Outlook magazine.
