Operations at the Center
The Ishikari Logistics Center started operations on March 10, 2008, as a consumer and cosmetics integration type of distribution center for Kao and Kanebo Cosmetics' products. The two companies will continue to integrate distribution bases by applying both types of integration.
By attaining process standardization, such as receiving, picking, and delivery to improve streamlining, the two companies are further promoting synergetic effects. They are also striving to provide consistent distribution services to nationwide retailers and to minimize delays and errors. Furthermore, from an environmental perspective, the two companies, through joint distribution, will reduce CO2 emissions caused by distribution.
