Indo Bharat invests for a sixth VSF production line in Java

PT Indo Bharat Rayon, a rayon fibre producing enterprise has spent around US $50 million for establishing a sixth production line at its plant in Purwakarta, West Java.

An official from the company told Fibre2fashion, “The sixth production line already commenced operation in early April this year and the unit qualifies as the second largest VSF plant in the world manufacturing at a single location.”

The official also stated that Indo Bharat Rayon is the largest tax payer in the textile industry of Indonesia and has invested an aggregate of $200 million over a period of five years in the country, employing some 2,000 workers.

A subsidiary of India-based Aditya Birla Group, the company fetches an average $600 million in revenues from its operation in Indonesia.
