China will not sign any agreement which is to harm its rights and interests and be detrimental to the healthy development of China's textile industry, the Ministry of Commerce said Friday when commenting on the sixth round of Sino-US textile talks.

The two-day sixth round of Sino-US textile talks ended in Beijing Thursday. As disputes still exist between the two sides on some key issues, the talks failed to reach any agreement, said the ministry in a statement at its official website.

China and the United States have had several rounds of talks on the textile issue with an aim to look for an appropriate solution and create a stable environment for textile trade, said the ministry.
