Swiss chemical group Ciba Specialty Chemicals illustrates innovative denim effects at ITMA ASIA. Ciba Specialty Chemicals will for the first time be showing innovative effects for denim, developed in conjunction with Boehme Filatex Inc USA, at ITMA ASIA in Singapore from October 17-21, stand no. 6E-32 in Hall 6.

Peter Otto, Global Head of Marketing in Ciba Specialty Chemicals' Textile Effects Segment informed that the industry can benefit from a unique full package that includes not only products and processes, but also design capabilities and training. They have received positive feedback from the denim industry, including major brand houses, specifiers and laundries.
A wide range of products provide individual finishing effects specially tailored to the requirements of the highly process-oriented garment industry, especially denim. Snow and acid washing, wrinkled, destroyed, worn and antique looks, and dyed and painted denim are among the broad variety of effects that can be achieved.
Ciba Specialty Chemicals' Textile Effects Segment entered into a cooperation arrangement to globally market the HIPOCHEMÒ garment wet processing chemicals range of Boehme Filatex Inc. USAin 2004. Ciba is producing under license and marketing HIPOCHEMÒ products worldwide, except in NAFTA and the Dominican Republic, where Boehme Filatex continues to produce and market the range.
