Illustrated a 65 g / m² fine polyester crepe is typical.

The company works with ultra-light polyester chiffons as low as 45 g / m² or silks up to 150 g / m².

Selected fabrics requiring a heat setting process are passed through the stenter initially before printing. The fabrics are then steamed and washed before again passing through the Montex for finishing at a maximum speed of 25 m / min.

“We only require a three chamber stenter as quality is the criteria rather than quantity, the speed is therefore not so important” highlighted the company spokesman.

“Our success has been the result of two key factors – the creativity of top designers and the need for top production management. Today, we have a third as the Montex takes us to new levels of quality reproducibility” he concluded.

“We have been impressed with the stenters ability to handle the very delicate fabrics such as 45 g/m² polyester chiffons.”
