Viet Tien Garment Company (VTEC) could fetch turnover of VND 600 billion and around VND 28 billion pre-tax profit in the first half of the year.
Six monthly business report from the company shows that, VTEC has reached 48 percent of its whole fiscal year set target of VND 1.250 billion.
Pre-tax profit was VND 28 billion which accounts to 53 percent of the target whereas after-tax of VND 22 billion made up to 53 percent as planned.
Market analysts are of the opinion, VTEC's business activities were hampered by price fluctuation and especially by strong hike in price of materials, fuel costs etc.
However, to stabilize the situation, VTEC has taken initiatives like enhancing management, exploiting market, thoroughly applying comprehensive saving measures, increasing productivity.
