Polyester chips maker JBF net sales up in Q2

The company's new plant at Saregam is expected to be operational by March 2006. This plant in full capacity will add an additional annual turnover of Rs 800 crores.

The core business activities of the Company are manufacture of polyester chipsand spinning of partially oriented yarn. With an existing installed capacity of 1,20,000 TPA, the Polyester Chips manufacturing plant set up in 2001 is the largest manufacturer of textile grade Polyester Chips.

JBF Industries is setting up a new plant at Sarigram, 15 kms away from the existing plant, for the manufacture of polyester chips. The new plant being built with an investment of over Rs 150 crores will have a production capacity of 2, 16,000 TPA and will be operational by January 2006.

The company's growth can be imagined by the fact that company's turnover has increased by about 250 times since it became public limited.
