The Mungindi Central Preschool will purchase long needed items such as sandpit covers and resources to support the Pre-school curriculum. She added that inn small communities like Mungindi, it is often harder to attract sponsorship for schools than in the larger centres.
David Kelly, Border Rivers representative for CSD informed that the project had provided a great outcome for the schools of Mungindi. He added that it was a tremendous effort by Brett Corish to pull this all together and CSD and all the other participants are honored to be involved. It would be great to see more programs like this across other cotton growing regions.
The program is continuing again in the 2005-06 season, with Brett Corish having just planted this year's crop. All supporting organizations have again committed their support.
