The 3rd Aachen-Dresden International Textile Conference - jointly organized by the textile research institutions of the Aachen and Dresden area - will take place in Aachen on November 26-27, 2009.
The "Aachen-Dresden" is one of the most important textile meetings in Europe and a platform for the international textile industry covering textile chemistry & materials research on the one hand and textile technology & engineering on the other hand. More than 600 participants attended the 2nd "Aachen-Dresden" in Dresden in 2008.
The 3rd Aachen-Dresden will focus on "Sustainability" in terms of a paradigm change from planning and controlling of productivity towards the design of products and processes according to a responsible use of resources.
Sessions will be dedicated to:
- Sustainable Creation of Value in View of Technology - Education - Collaboration
- New Materials and Functionalization
- Healt Care Products
- Apparel
- Textile Machinery
The call for papers - oral as well as poster contributions - is open till January 31, 2009.
