On Friday, trading activities remained slack although spot prices at KCA stood firm at Rs2,850 per maund.
Nearly 9,000 bales were traded while fine quality cotton fetched slightly higher price around Rs 3,000 per maund.
In the local market contracts for 300 bales were executed in Sindh at around Rs2,900 per maund while the trading remained in a range of Rs2,880 per maund to Rs2,975 per maund. In Punjab all the trading remained in a range of Rs 2,875 per maund to Rs 2,900 per maund.
The spot rate at KCA stood still at Rs2,850 per maund Saturday.
