MEGlobal, the biggest worldwide producer of Monoethylene Glycol (MEG), has recently announced the Asian Contract Price (ACP) for arrivals in March 2009, which stands at US $540 per MT CFR Asian main ports.
It may be recalled that the MEG ACP prices released for arrivals in February and March 2009 by MEGlobal stood at $630 per MT. This means that MEGlobal has reduced prices by $90 per MT in April, when compared with those prevailing in the previous two months.
Meanwhile SHELL also nominated its MEG Asian contract price for April at $560 per MT (CFR, L/C 90days), down $50 per MT from March.
