The Bremen Cotton Exchange held its 135th ordinary General Assembly during its 137th fiscal year on June 25th, 2009. The General Assembly accepted the Annual Report 2008 which depicts the activities of the Cotton Exchange, an analysis of the global cotton situation of 2008 as well as of the cotton industry in Europe in particular. The English version of the report will be published soon.
Particulars: The members of the General Assembly re-elected Mr. Lüder Vollers, Berthold Vollers GmbH, and newly elected Mr. Fritz A. Grobien, Friedrich W. Kaemena & Co. GmbH, to the board of directors.
The board of members approved the current chairmanship, Mr. Wolfgang Vogt- Jordan, Friedrich W. Kaemena & Co. GmbH, as President and Mr. Jens D. Lukaczik, managing partner of Cargo Control Germany GmbH as Vice-President, during the subsequent session.
