Edelrid is the first manufacturer worldwide to produce its ropes according the stringent requirements of the bluesign standard. Along the entire production chain, the ropes only contain components and pass through processes that are harmless to people and the environment. At the same time resources will be saved.
For bluesign technologies ag this marks the beginning of a new era. Having bluesign safety gear on the market is an important milestone in the pursuit of bluesign technologies' goal to bring together the entire manufacturing chain to jointly reduce the ecological footprint of the (outdoor) industry.
EDELRID GmbH & Co. KG has been producing technical mountaineering gear since the 1950's. “Unfolding the future” is EDELRID'S new slogan and at the same time their mission - developing and producing products that will be defining the future of climbing.
