The week under report passed very calm for the local trade. Enquiries from the domestic spinners were scarce and the price ideas between sellers and potential buyers gapped widely apart.
Both, the Bremen as well as the Cotlook Index (Far East) ranged slightly higher than one week before. The futures quotations in New York were slightly lower on the key date, but kept their firmer tendency.
Only low turnovers were registered in the Upland range: Central Asian sorts and Greek “selected” quality for loading in the 4th quarter 2009.
