An extensive seepage system – or trenching system – feeds rainwater directly into the groundwater. Of course, the exposition center also includes environmental waste separation and disposal. Thanks to all these measures the New Munich Trade Fair became the first exposition center to be awarded the “Energy Efficient Business” certificate by TÜV SÜD, Southern Germany's technical control association.
