Inoes Group Ltd has announced an unplanned closure of its cracker no-4 at Koln, Germany which produces ethylene and propylene, a spokesperson of the company revealed to fibre2fashion.
He said that, due to a technical issue, production on the cracker at Köln was interrupted early on the morning of December 10th and has not re-started as yet.
He added by saying that the issue would be resolved as quickly as possible consistent with safe and prudent operating practices and in the meantime Ineos continues to work with customers to assist them in sourcing and securing alternative supplies.
