before the card infeed can be realized. Evenness in the machine direction is controlled by an additional apron scale which controls the card's infeed speed.
The MultiFeed can be equipped with a dual fibre delivery system “Twinflow” in the upper chamber. The doubling of the fibre mass in the upper chamber results in a homogenizing effect. A further two-roller opening step divides upper and lower chambers. In the lower chamber, the flocks are further condensed and mixed by mechanical and air movement related to the permeable delivery apron.
The MultiFeed card feeder of DiloSpinnbau begins a new era of modern card feeding systems. Twinflow dual feeding and condensing of the fibre matt in the lower chamber result in a previously unknown feeding quality which increases the uniformity of the carded web and allows fibre savings. As the MultiFeed doesn't need long adjustment times to feed with maximum homogeneity, the amount of inferior quality web when starting or stopping the production line are minimized. The MultiFeed is also available in working widths exceeding 5 m.
