KP Chemicals operates two PTA production plants at Ulsan in South Korea. The number-2 plant has an output of 350,000 tons per year and the number-3 plant has a production capacity of 600,000 tons per annum.
Fibre2fashion spoke to official sources in KP Chemicals who informed that they are currently discussing undertaking maintenance work on the number-3 PTA plant.
However, she added by saying that, although no date has been fixed at yet, the maintenance is expected to be undertaken in or after June 2010.
