IndoRama Polymers operates a PTA plant at Map Ta Phut which has a capacity of 710,000 tons per annum.
A company source informed fibre2fashion that, the plant will be taken off-stream for routine maintenance from June 24.
The maintenance is expected to last for a period of two weeks and the company will also change the catalyst at the plant.
He further informed that currently the plant is running at full capacity levels and the shutdown will result in a loss of 28,000 tons of PTA output.
